For schools
Lending libraries that bring play into every classroom.
The Nat20 Trust partners with kura and schools across Aotearoa to provide tabletop game kits, facilitator guides, and mentoring that make inclusive play easy to run.
How the lending library works
We lend game libraries to schools for a term at a time. Each library contains a mix of cooperative, strategic, and story-driven games suited for ages 8–16.
Our team provides onboarding, facilitator tips, and gentle check-ins so kaiako feel confident running sessions.
What’s included
- Curated tabletop game kit (6–10 titles)
- Facilitator walkthroughs & learning links
- Printable character sheets & quick-start rules
- Optional virtual coaching session
Step 1
Submit an expression of interest with a few details about your school community and preferred term.
Step 2
We schedule a call to kōrero about goals, accessibility needs, and the best mix of games.
Step 3
Your kit arrives with setup guides, ready for a launch session where our team can help facilitate.
Eligibility & support
We prioritise lower-income communities, rural schools, and groups supporting neurodivergent learners. Lending libraries are free for schools in the pilot programme; we simply ask for feedback and a commitment to inclusive practice.
- Primary, intermediate, and secondary kura across Aotearoa are welcome.
- Libraries are lent to schools (not individuals) for up to one school term.
- We can assist with shipping or drop-off within Tāmaki Makaurau and Waikato.
